THE PROJECT

A true grass roots indie, THE
MYTH OF COLOR was produced
on a budget of only $1600.

Consumer grade equipment was
used for production, including a
$385 refurbished Panasonic
mini-DV camcorder and a $30
Radio Shack microphone.

The entire film was edited and
mixed on a "suped up" home PC
outfitted with Pinnacle Studio and
various freeware applications
harvested from the internet.

Shot in St. Louis, Missouri, the project was executed entirely by local talent, from the actors to the
production assistants.

THE MYTH OF COLOR is the product of a few friends with an ounce of substandard equipment and
a ton of heart and soul.
